3 on 3 Rules

Spring League
- No Stoppages other than for penalty shots and at the end of a period.
- No rule against Icing or Offsides for games played on Forest Hill Small Rink Only. Icing and Offsides are in effect for all other locations.
- No Stoppage after a goal, but the scoring team has to give the other team to the blue line or half ice with the puck.
- For all penalties, penalty shots are awarded. All players other than the shooter line up on the back blue line. The shooter goes on the whistle and everybody else chases.
- There is a whistle when the goalie covers the puck. No face-off, but opposing team must go back outside the blue line before play resumes.
- There are Two (2) 22.5 Minute periods with 1.5-minute shifts with the buzzer.
- Each Individual Player can only score three (3) Goals per period for a Maximum of six (6) Goals per game.
- When the buzzer/whistle goes, the players must leave the puck. If it is touched after the buzzer, there is a warning and change of possession. If it happens again a penalty shot will be awarded.
- No player is allowed on ice until all 3 are at the bench. Violation means first a change of possession, then a penalty shot.
